Sally the Snail had a big dream. She wanted to run a marathon!

But Sally was no ordinary runner. She had tiny legs and a shiny shell that glimmered in the sun.

“Can a little snail like me really run a marathon?” she wondered.

With a heart full of determination, Sally decided to give it a try. She took a deep breath and set off on her wiggly adventure!

As she slithered through the garden, Sally met Benny the Bunny. “Where are you going, Sally?” Benny asked with a twitch of his nose.

“I’m going to train for a marathon!” Sally replied, her eyes sparkling with excitement.

Benny giggled. “But you’re so slow! How will you ever finish?”

Sally smiled and said, “It doesn’t matter how slow I go. I just want to try!”

Benny thought for a moment and decided to help. “I’ll be your training buddy!” he said, hopping alongside her.

Every day, they practiced together. Benny would hop ahead and then wait for Sally to catch up.

“Keep going, Sally! You can do it!” he cheered, clapping his paws.

Sally felt encouraged by Benny’s cheers. She wiggled her tiny legs as fast as she could.

One day, while training, they met Lucy the Ladybug. “What are you two up to?” she asked, fluttering her wings.

“I’m training for a marathon!” Sally announced proudly.

Lucy smiled. “That sounds fun! I want to join you!”

Now, with Benny and Lucy by her side, Sally felt even more determined. They practiced running every day.

Sally learned to persevere, even when she felt tired. “Slow and steady wins the race,” she told herself.

As the marathon day approached, Sally felt nervous. “What if I can’t finish?” she worried.

Benny nudged her gently. “You’re doing great, Sally! Just remember, it’s about having fun!”

On the day of the marathon, Sally lined up with all the other runners. She looked around and saw big animals and even some fast insects.

“Ready, set, go!” shouted the race official.

Sally took a deep breath and started wiggling along. She was slow, but she kept moving.

Benny and Lucy cheered from the sidelines. “You can do it, Sally!” they shouted.

With each wiggle, Sally felt her heart fill with joy. She was running her marathon!

Though others zoomed past her, Sally smiled. She loved the feeling of chasing her dream.

As she crossed the finish line, the crowd erupted in cheers. “Yay, Sally!” they shouted.

With her tiny legs and a big heart, Sally had finished the marathon!

She realized that it wasn’t about being the fastest, but about never giving up.

Sally beamed with pride, knowing she had achieved her dream.

“Thank you, Benny and Lucy! I couldn’t have done it without you!” she said, hugging her friends.

They all celebrated together, knowing that dreams can come true, no matter how slow you might be.
