Cumulus the Cloud Who Didn't Want to Rain

Cumulus loved to dance with the wind and play hide-and-seek with the sun. But there was one thing that made him nervous—letting the rain fall!

"Oh, no! What if my raindrops make everything too wet?" Cumulus worried as he watched the flowers below. They looked so sad and thirsty.

One sunny day, Cumulus saw a little flower wilting in the sun. "Why do you look so sad?" he called down to the flower.

The little flower looked up and sighed. "I need some rain to drink, but it never falls from the clouds!"

Cumulus felt a twinge of sadness in his fluffy heart. He wanted to help but was too scared to let his raindrops fall.

Just then, a friendly breeze whistled by. "Cumulus, why are you so worried?" asked the breeze, swirling around him.

"I'm scared to rain," Cumulus admitted. "What if I make everything too soggy?"

The breeze chuckled gently. "Oh, Cumulus! Raindrops are magical! They help flowers bloom and make everyone smile!"

"But what if I can't do it?" Cumulus wriggled, feeling uncertain.

The breeze encouraged him, "Just think of how happy you will make the flowers and the people below. You can do it!"

Cumulus took a deep breath and looked down at the sad little flower. "I want to help," he said softly.

Gathering all his courage, Cumulus felt his raindrops begin to bubble up. "Here goes!" he thought, and with a gentle puff, he started to rain.

Tiny droplets danced down from Cumulus, splashing softly on the thirsty ground. The little flower perked up, drinking in the sweet raindrops.

"Oh, thank you, Cumulus!" the flower cheered, her petals opening wide in delight. "You’ve made me so happy!"

Seeing the flower bloom made Cumulus feel warm and fuzzy inside. He was so proud of himself!

Slowly, Cumulus let more raindrops fall, showering the garden below. The flowers twirled and laughed in joy.

People started to look up and smile, enjoying the refreshing rain. "What a lovely cloud!" they exclaimed.

Cumulus floated higher, feeling lighter than air. "I did it! I shared my raindrops!" he shouted with glee.

From that day on, Cumulus learned that letting the rain fall wasn't scary at all. It was a way to spread joy and happiness.

Now, whenever he felt the urge, Cumulus would happily rain, bringing smiles and blooming flowers to everyone below.

And so, Cumulus the little cloud floated through the sky, brave and joyful, knowing he could make a difference with every raindrop he shared.
